New Orleans is a place like no other.  It is filled with history, amazing food and great drinks!  There is more to do than just cruise down Bourbon Street.  My recommendation would be to do a City Tour first and then decide which neighborhoods you want to spend more time in.  I highly recommend visiting the National World War II Museum, make sure you can dedicate at least one day to the museum as they continue to add more buildings and exhibits to explore.  Check out their vintage clothing gift shop to travel back in time.
